Pitgaveney Farm Family Open Day

That the Parliament congratulates the owners of Pitgaveny Farm, sister and brother team, Rebecca and Crinan Russell, on another successful farm open day; understands that more than 3,000 people attended on 28 May 2017 to celebrate the regions agriculture and to see what goes on in the running of a busy farm; notes that this was the fifth open day hosted by Pitgaveny, with the next planned for 2019; further notes that the farm also welcomes several hundred local school children to their own special open day where they can gain a taste of farming life and learn more about food production; congratulates all those taking part in demonstrating farming techniques new and old and the many stall holders displaying the fine foods produced across the region, and sends thanks and best wishes to the organisers for continued success in the future.
