That the Parliament commends Maurice Donohue, who has pledged to run 365 10k races in 365 days, and 27 half-marathons, to raise funds for the Sporting Memories Network, which supports older people across the UK who are living with dementia by helping them to connect with others through shared memories of watching or playing sport, and Race against Dementia, which was founded by Formula 1 legend, Sir Jackie Stewart, to fund research into a cure for the condition; understands that Maurice's planned 27 half-marathons are a nod to Sir Jackie’s 27 Grand Prix victories, and that he plans to complete some of these at famous race circuits, including Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Monza; acknowledges that the 365 10k races are in honour of Lachie Stewart, the 1970 Commonwealth Games Gold medal winner at that distance, who is an ambassador for the Sporting Memories Network; acknowledges the work of both the Sporting Memories Network and Race Against Dementia, and wishes Maurice every success with his fundraising efforts.
