Pure Gym Wins Evening News Gym of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Pure Gym at Ocean Terminal in Leith on winning the Evening News Gym of the Year award; notes that the winner was decided by readers of the Edinburgh paper and was announced on 17 April 2017; further notes that Pure Gym Waterfront was named as the runner-up, and that Pure Gym on Gorgie Road came third; understands that Pure Gym at Ocean Terminal has more than 6,000 members and is the largest gym in the capital; considers that this award is a testament to the friendly and non-intimidating environment at the gym; acknowledges that regular exercise contributes to improved physical and mental health; understands that providing a welcoming and accessible space plays a significant role in encouraging people to exercise, as many people derive more benefit from activity-friendly environments; thanks all the team at Pure Gym for their commitment to assisting their members reach their full potential and have enjoyable experiences, and wishes everyone involved all the best for the future.
