That the Parliament congratulates Baljaffray Primary and Nursery in Bearsden on its excellent recent inspection report from Education Scotland; understands that this was the first inspection of an establishment in East Dunbartonshire under the new inspection model; notes that both the nursery and primary were evaluated as good, and that the aspects of the school that were particularly praised included the leadership of the head teacher in establishing a welcoming ethos and culture that supports change, the school’s strong partnership with parents, and the well behaved, polite, articulate children who are enthusiastic learners who enjoy talking about what they have learned in school and beyond, and wishes all pupils, parents and staff well for the future.
