Hollie Davidson Makes Six Nations History

That the Parliament congratulates Hollie Davidson, who is from Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, and is set to become the first woman to referee a men’s Six Nations rugby match when she oversees Ireland v Italy on 14 February 2026; recognises her outstanding referee career, including becoming Scottish Rugby’s first full-time female referee, officiating a New Zealand Test, refereeing at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, and being inducted in Scottish Rugby’s Hall of Fame; notes her role in major fixtures such as the 2025 European Challenge Cup final; acknowledges that Hollie will continue her involvement in the 2026 Championship as an assistant referee for the last game of the tournament, which is the France v England match in Paris on 14 March; commends Hollie for her achievements so far, and wishes her a successful career.
