Glasgow Green Champions Recognised

That the Parliament congratulates Lambhill Stables on being named Green Champion at the 2025 Glasgow Community Champion Awards; notes that Lambhill Stables is a community-owned hub serving Lambhill and Cadder, providing recreational, environmental, heritage and youth services, including gardening, cycle-maintenance, canoeing, boat trips, youth clubs and community meetings; recognises the value of community-based environmental and recreational initiatives in fostering local engagement, sustainability, healthy lifestyles and social inclusion; acknowledges the stables’ role in offering accessible opportunities to residents, especially young people, to connect with nature, learn new skills and participate in community life, and further acknowledges the contribution of such green champions to the wellbeing and environmental awareness of Glasgow’s communities.
