That the Parliament congratulates Instant Neighbour in Aberdeen on receiving a £17,500 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that Instant Neighbour has been supporting people in Aberdeen City and Shire for almost 40 years, supporting people on low incomes to set up home with access to low-cost reuse furniture, white goods, clothing and bric-a-brac; understands that this award will help the organisation deliver their 35th and 36th Christmas Giving Tree services in 2025 and 2026, which operate to ensure no child in Aberdeen goes without a gift at Christmas, regardless of their family circumstances; believes that this award will help ensure that many children who might otherwise have felt left out at Christmas will have happy memories instead, and wishes all those involved in the project the very best in their endeavours.
