That the Parliament congratulates Edinburgh Zoo on being named by the Central and East Scottish Thistle Awards as the Best Visitor Attraction and on winning the Climate Action Award; believes that these awards celebrate the zoo’s outstanding commitment to connecting people with nature, promoting conservation and embedding sustainability at the heart of its work; acknowledges the efforts of staff, volunteers and supporters in achieving this success; notes that Edinburgh Zoo will now progress to the national final in November 2025, and wishes it every success in the next stage of the competition and in its continued efforts to inspire and engage people with the natural world.
