That the Parliament congratulates all winners and nominees at the NL Sport and Volunteers Awards 2025, which is now in its tenth year, and which celebrates the vital contribution of individuals, schools and organisations across North Lanarkshire to promoting sport, physical activity and volunteering; recognises the outstanding achievements across 13 categories, including Graham Calder of Dalziel High School, named Secondary School Sport Champion; further recognises Orchard Primary School, which was awarded Primary School of the Year, Braidhurst High School, named Secondary School of the Year, and Dalziel Rugby Club, recognised as Community Organisation of the Year; acknowledges the importance of such initiatives in encouraging participation, fostering community spirit, and improving health and wellbeing, and commends all those involved in organising and supporting the event for their continued dedication to sport and volunteering in local communities.
