That the Parliament congratulates St Bernadette’s Parish Church in Motherwell on the occasion of its 75th anniversary; acknowledges what it considers to be the important role that the parish church has played in the spiritual and community life of the area since its founding in 1949; recognises the dedication of the clergy, parishioners and volunteers over the years, who have contributed to building a strong, welcoming and inclusive faith community; notes the wide range of pastoral, charitable and outreach work carried out by the parish in support of individuals and families in Motherwell and beyond, and wishes all involved in the anniversary celebrations continued success, health, and blessings for the future.
