That the Parliament congratulates Changes East Lothian on being awarded £183,987 from the National Lottery Community Fund to support the continuation of its befriending project for adults Musselburgh and East Lothian who are experiencing isolation and mental health challenges; recognises the vital role that befriending services play in fostering social connection, reducing loneliness and promoting emotional wellbeing; commends the staff and volunteers of Changes East Lothian for their dedication to improving lives in the community, and wishes the organisation continued success in delivering this important work.
