Celebrating Cairngorm Bothies' Finalist Position for the Iver Salvesen Award

That the Parliament notes and celebrates the recent success of Cairngorm Bothies, which is an eco-friendly retreat in the Cairngorms National Park, for receiving finalist status for the Iver Salvesen Award for Combatting Climate Change; understands that this award is part of the Scottish Land & Estates’ Helping It Happen Awards, which celebrate the vital role of land-based businesses in supporting the rural economy and local communities; acknowledges that this award nomination highlights Cairngorm Bothies’ dedication to sustainability, from off-grid power systems to utilising local materials and focusing on waste reduction, and wishes Cairngorm Bothies success in the future.
