Praising Murray and Mairead Sim for 29 Years in Hospitality

That the Parliament understands that the iconic Robin's Nest tea room in Taynuilt, which has been run by Murray and Mairead Sim for the last 29 years, is set to close its doors to the public on 31 August 2025; recognises what it sees as the important role the tea room has played in Taynuilt as the sole café in the village and notes that it had regular visitors from the local community as well as visitors from around the world; acknowledges the significant contribution that Murray and Mairead have made to community life in Taynuilt over the last 29 years and more, and wishes both Murray and Mairead well for the future.
