Welcoming the Launch of Mind Hop Brewery in Alves

  • Submitted by: Tim Eagle, Highlands and Islands, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 05 September 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-18603

That the Parliament welcomes the launch of Mind Hop Brewery and its new non-alcoholic beer brand, Mind Hop; understands that the business was established by long-time friends Callum Hogg, Alexandra Chapman, and Ross Milligan, who are all from Moray, and that it initially began as a hobby before developing into a small-scale business operating from a brewery currently housed in Ross's garage in Alves; notes that the brand currently offers a nitro stout and a lager, with an IPA in development, and it is stocked in six locations across Moray and one in Nairn; appreciates their commitment to mental health by donating 10% of profits to grassroots initiatives and sponsoring the Moray Mental Health Football Club, as well as sponsoring a newly launched football team in Forres, and wishes Mind Hop Brewery the best for the future.
