That the Parliament commends the meaningful contributions made by the Asda Foundation in strengthening communities across Scotland through its grant programme; notes with appreciation the involvement of Asda stores in Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Clydebank and Irvine in supporting locally led initiatives; highlights recent funding awarded to a number of groups, including £1,800 to Families of Auchinairn Coming Together, £3,000 to Ramekin & Rolling Pin of Kirkintilloch, £1,000 to New Roots Initiative Ltd of East Dunbartonshire, £1,000 to Dalmuir Barclay Church Mini Youth Group, £1,000 to Dalmuir Barclay Church, £3,000 to Ayrshire Communities Education and Sport, £3,000 to Dalry Community Sports Club, and £982 to Woodland Wakeup; recognises that this funding helps local organisations deliver services, respond to social challenges, and create inclusive spaces for residents of all ages, and congratulates the recipients on their positive impact within their communities.
