Cornerstone Service Awarded Grade 5 by Care Inspectorate

That the Parliament congratulates Cornerstone on being awarded a grade 5 by the Care Inspectorate; understands that Cornerstone provides support and care at home for adults over the age of 18 with learning disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injuries who live in their own homes; notes that the service supports 19 individuals across Airdrie, Motherwell, and Cumbernauld; acknowledges the inspectors’ praise, highlighting that the service proactively supports and promotes people’s independence and choices, and that some supported individuals were observed planning busy and engaging days, and commends the staff for their dedication to delivering high quality, person-centred care that empowers individuals and enhances their quality of life.
