That the Parliament congratulates the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses in Fraserburgh on being awarded a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2025; understands that this accolade places the museum among the top 10% of visitor attractions worldwide, based on consistently positive reviews and feedback from visitors on platforms such as Tripadvisor, Google Reviews and the museum’s own visitor book; notes what it sees as the museum’s unique location at Kinnaird Head, site of the first lighthouse on mainland Scotland, and its dedication to preserving and sharing the rich history of the Northern Lighthouse Board, lighthouse keepers and the engineering innovation behind Scotland’s coastal safety; considers the museum to be a vital part of Fraserburgh’s cultural and tourism offering; commends the team, volunteers, and wider community for their continued passion and commitment, and wishes the museum continued success in the years ahead.
