That the Parliament recognises the success of the BPCR Solo Piping Competition held at Victoria Halls, Helensburgh, which attracted over 30 pipers from around the world, including Australia, Canada and New Zealand; believes that the event showcased exceptional talent and high standards, enhancing Helensburgh's reputation as a hub for cultural and musical excellence; recognises what it sees as the significant boost to local businesses and tourism provided by the influx of visitors, benefitting the community economically and culturally; commends the dedication of the organisers, sponsors and volunteers for their excellent organisation and support; notes what it sees as the importance of such events in preserving the rich tradition of Scottish piping, and wishes continued success for future competitions.
