That the Parliament applauds pupils from Muiredge, St John the Baptist and Tannochside primaries, which are based in Uddingston, for their creative artwork, which has brightened up the Spindlehowe underpass; believes that what was previously a vandalised and fire damaged pedestrian tunnel in their community has now been transformed into a vibrant and pleasing display of colour featuring the area's wildlife and nature; understands that this project was part of a competition organised by the Scottish Roads Partnership inviting P5–P7 pupils of the three primary schools to produce designs for an environmental mural capturing nature found living close to the area’s trunk roads; further understands that 22 designs were chosen to be reproduced at the underpass, which were painted by a street artist; applauds everyone involved, including the fantastic pupils, for transforming the underpass into a place of inspiration for all who pass through, and hopes that it will continue to brighten the community for many years to come.
