That the Parliament congratulates Home-Start Glasgow North on what it sees as the outstanding success of its recent fundraising event, which was held at Glasgow Golf Club; considers that invaluable support was provided by the club, the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA), and the event’s principal sponsor, Arnold Clark, whose combined efforts helped deliver a memorable ProAm golf tournament, despite a little rain; notes what it sees as the remarkable involvement of over 100 players, staff, volunteers and generous supporters, whose contributions, including sponsorships, donations, a vibrant auction and superb hospitality and entertainment, helped raise vital funds for the charity’s work; acknowledges all who made the event so special, particularly the club members and guests, whose warm encouragement reflected the strength and importance of community-driven initiatives; recognises the vital work of Home-Start in supporting families with young children who are facing challenging circumstances across north Glasgow; believes that the charity plays a key role in reducing isolation and loneliness, improving adult and child mental health, supporting early years development and educational attainment and promoting and nurturing resilient family environments, particularly during the crucial perinatal period, and commends Home-Start on what it sees as its longstanding commitment to strengthening communities and empowering families to thrive.
