Woodlands Primary School Litter Picks

That the Parliament congratulates P6 pupils at Woodlands Primary School in Irvine on their efforts to protect and improve their local environment; recognises that the school organised two community litter picks for children to participate in to protect their local environment; notes the importance of the pupils’ clean-up work around the school grounds and at Irvine beach, where they were supported by the community group Irvine Clean Up Crew and local company North; praises the school staff for their efforts to integrate environmental education and outdoor activity, and recognises the pupils’ enthusiasm, community pride and commitment to protecting their local environment.
