Congratulating Milngavie Primary on Achieving a Gold Award from the We Make Music School Award Scheme

That the Parliament congratulates pupils and teachers at Milngavie Primary School for achieving the Gold Award from the We Make Music School Award scheme for their outstanding success in the subject of music; understands that this distinction recognises and celebrates the rich variety of music-making activity taking place in primary and additional support needs schools in Scotland; believes that Milngavie Primary School is one of only three in Scotland to achieve gold; recognises what it sees as the importance of music education, which helps pupils to increase attainment, confidence and resilience, and wishes pupils and teachers the best of success in their future endeavours.
