Celebrating 25-Year Membership Recognition from FBU to Brian Ritchie, Firefighter with Amber Watch, Methil Branch in Fife

That the Parliament celebrates that Brian Ritchie, a firefighter with Amber Watch at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Methil branch in Fife, has received a 25-year membership recognition from the Fire Brigades Union (FBU); considers that, throughout Brian’s lengthy membership, the work of the FBU has been fundamental in improving Scotland’s fire and rescue services, including helping to ensure that working conditions are improved and protected; understands that, amongst other benefits, it has also prevented cuts or damaging changes to fire and rescue services; acknowledges and is grateful to Brian for all the hard work and commitment to his role as a firefighter within the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service over the years, and extends its very best wishes for the future.
