That the Parliament congratulates Lewis and Harris Rangers Supporters Club (RSC) on celebrating its 50th anniversary on 26 June 2025; understands that the milestone achievement was commemorated at a ceremony held by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar at its council offices in Stornoway, where a plaque was presented by the Council Convenor, Councillor Kenny Macleod, to John Macinnes, the manager of the Lewis and Harris RSC, recognising the longevity of the club and its work in the local community; further understands that Lewis and Harris RSC is reportedly the world's biggest Rangers supporters club in terms of membership, out of the 584 active Rangers supporters clubs; acknowledges that the local clubhouse hosts a variety of events for its members, the community and visitors, including its famous Rangers legends nights, gig nights, and charity fundraisers; celebrates the extensive charitable work of the Lewis and Harris RSC, which, it understands, has given thousands to local charities across the Western Isles over the years, and sends Lewis and Harris RSC, its staff and members its very best wishes as the club celebrates its half century.
