Stein Connelly Receives BEM Award in The King's Birthday Honours List 2025

That the Parliament congratulates Stein Connelly, lately Head of Transport Resilience at Transport Scotland, on being awarded the British Empire Medal BEM for his exceptional services to transport resilience in Dumbarton, Dunbartonshire; notes that Stein has dedicated over two decades to enhancing the resilience and reliability of Scotland's transport infrastructure; acknowledges his significant contributions to ensuring the safety and efficiency of transport systems, particularly during adverse weather conditions and emergencies; recognises his leadership and commitment to improving transport resilience, which have been instrumental in the success of Transport Scotland's initiatives; appreciates his dedication to the community and the positive impact of his work, and wishes him continued success.
