That the Parliament congratulates Professor Ewan Beaton MacDonald, professor and head of the healthy working lives group at the University of Glasgow, on being appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his exceptional services to occupational medicine and to reducing health inequalities; understands that Professor MacDonald has dedicated his career to improving the wellbeing of the working age population and optimising their functional capability; acknowledges his significant contributions to the field of occupational health through research, teaching and advocacy; recognises what it see as the impact of his work in promoting universal access to occupational health and safety, and in reducing health inequalities; appreciates his leadership and commitment to fostering a healthier and more inclusive society, and wishes him continued success.
