That the Parliament congratulates Charlie Holder and Fraser Cordiner, from Nairn Academy, on their win at the 2025 Donald Dewar Memorial Debate Tournament final, in its 25th anniversary; recognises the work of teachers, fellow students, parents, and other supporters in building this winning team; thanks the Law Society of Scotland for its ongoing efforts to provide schools across Scotland with the opportunity to take part in Scotland’s largest annual schools debating tournament; notes the wide-ranging potential for the application of debating skills in many work and leisure opportunities; wishes the two boys, Nairn Academy, and all other schools and students who took part in the tournament this year all the best for the future, and looks forward to the next 25 years of tournaments.
