Success of Growing2gether Youth Social Action Showcase

That the Parliament congratulates Growing2gether on the successful hosting of its Youth Social Action showcase at Eden Court, Inverness, in May 2025; recognises the dedication and achievements of the young changemakers from Inverness and Alness who, following 16 weeks of youth-led project development, presented impactful initiatives, including awareness-raising on children’s rights under article 29 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), and fundraising efforts in support of St Clements School; commends the confidence, creativity and leadership displayed by the participants, including six emerging young leaders and the young facilitator, Lorelei; acknowledges the valuable community partnerships fostered through the involvement of local leaders and mentors; applauds Growing2gether for its commitment to personal development, civic engagement and the empowerment of disadvantaged young people across the Highlands, and wishes the young participants and all those involved continued success in their efforts to build more inclusive, empowered and compassionate communities.
