  • Submitted by: Marie McNair, Clydebank and Milngavie, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 16 June 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-17954

That the Parliament congratulates St Peter the Apostle (SPTA) High School and its football teams on another successful season; understands that the under-16 team completed the treble, making it the first team from SPTA to do so in 14 years; notes that, on the way to the treble, it won the Glasgow League, the Scottish Shield and the RS McColl Cup; believes that this may also be the first invincible treble to be completed by a Glasgow school football team, with the team going unbeaten all season; understands that the SPTA senior team added to the success by winning the Senior Glasgow League and the Scottish Shield to complete a double, and believes that these victories are the result of hard work and dedication, and that all the players involved should be very proud of their achievement.
