Recognition of Industrial Cadets Bronze Project Graduation Day

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils, teachers, and industry mentors participating in the Industrial Cadets Bronze Project graduation day, organised by the Engineering Development Trust (EDT) and sponsored by Viridor and the Clyde Valley Residual Waste Project; notes that pupils from St Aidan’s High School in Wishaw, and other participating schools, have spent 12 weeks working on real-life STEM challenges as part of the Industrial Cadets Bronze Award; understands that this initiative connects young people directly with industry, fostering innovation, teamwork and problem-solving skills; celebrates the role of the programme in inspiring S1 and S2 pupils across Scotland to consider future careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), and wishes all teams the best as they compete for awards, including Best Project, Teamwork, and the People’s Choice Award.
