Boards & Beans Officially opens in Aberdeen Donside

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the Boards & Beans café; understands that the community café opened at the Mastrick Community Centre in Aberdeen Donside; notes that the café provides a welcoming space where the local community can gather, socialise and enjoy a selection of tasty treats and hot drinks; further notes the wide selection of board games on offer for customers to play whilst visiting; recognises that the café had a soft opening in April 2025, with the official opening on 21 May 2025; understands that the aim of the café is to bring the community together in an affordable and inclusive way; commends the efforts of members of the Mastrick, Sheddocksley, Summerhill Community Council, who have brought the café into fruition with the support of Mastrick Community Centre, and wishes them all the best for the future.
