That the Parliament recognises Barbara Casey, a manager at the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank, for her goal to raise money as she treks to Everest basecamp; understands that Barbara is self-funding the trip and is being sponsored for every step that she takes to the 17,598 ft altitude of basecamp; further understands that sponsors can guess how many steps it will take with prizes awarded for the closest guesses; celebrates people like Barbara for raising money in creative ways for deserving charities such as the Beatson Cancer Charity, and wishes Barbara well in her adventure.
