That the Parliament congratulates the Kilwinning residents, John Hornby, William Quinn, William McKnight and John McMillan, known collectively as The Bravehearts, on representing Scotland in the British Bangers Rally from 4 to 9 May 2025; notes that the four friends and neighbours will drive an old car worth under £1,000 from Kilwinning to Benidorm via Birmingham, Dover, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Andorra and into Spain, to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity; acknowledges the roles of local businesses, including Abbey Screen and Digital Print in Kilwinning, in helping to provide a roadworthy vehicle and branding support after issues with the team’s original vehicle; commends the team for raising over £4,000 in memory of loved ones lost to cancer and for supporting one of Scotland’s leading cancer charities, and wishes The Bravehearts the very best on their epic journey across Europe.
