That the Parliament congratulates Scotland international cricket captain, Kathryn Bryce, who has been named Player of the Tournament after shining in the recent ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier; understands that the Scotland skipper amassed 293 runs to finish as the competition’s leading run-scorer, including an unbeaten 131 against Ireland to help her team post a creditable total; acknowledges that further scores of 60 and 91 against Thailand and Pakistan, respectively, helped consolidate her outstanding average; acknowledges that these run-scoring achievements were backed up by contributing six wickets for her side, including three in a nail-biting finale against Ireland, and wishes Kathryn all the very best in her career going forward.
