That the Parliament congratulates Steven Bennett from Arbroath on winning the UK’s first ever Black Pudding Champion of Champions competition; understands that the competition was held in London and organised by Scottish Craft Butchers, National Craft Butchers and the Q Guild of Butchers; notes that Steven Bennett owns DH Robertson family butcher shop in Arbroath, which had already earned the title of East of Scotland and reserve national Scottish champion before taking on the best black pudding makers from across the country to win the title of UK Champion of Champions; recognises that the award-winning black pudding recipe is a closely guarded, secret, pre-Second World War recipe, and has had only a few refinements over the years, and wishes Steven Bennett many more years of success.
