That the Parliament welcomes the news that work is set to begin in Printfield, Aberdeen, to create the Denis Law Legacy Trail; understands that, after a competitive open call, renowned street art collective, Blankwalls, has been commissioned to create two large-scale murals on the prominent sheltered housing building, Clifton Court, to serve as the gateway to the Denis Law Legacy Trail, which will consist of 10 outdoor art exhibitions to educate, celebrate and inspire the public about the remarkable achievements of the legendary Scottish footballer, who grew up in the Printfield area; acknowledges the efforts of Cllr Neil Copland who first proposed the creation of the trail in March 2020 and has since actively worked to make the project a reality; commends those who have planned the Denis Law Legacy Trail, and wishes everyone involved in taking the project forward well.
