75th Anniversary of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association

That the Parliament congratulates the British Holiday and Home Parks Association (BH&HPA) on its 75th anniversary; acknowledges that, since its establishment in 1950, BH&HPA has been dedicated to representing and serving owners and managers of holiday, residential, tenting, touring and glamping parks across the UK; notes the significant contribution of Scotland's holiday park and campsite sector to the Scottish economy, which, according to the 2024 report, Pitching the Value, by the UK Caravan and Camping Alliance, generated £991 million in gross direct visitor expenditure and supported 18,354 full-time equivalent jobs; commends BH&HPA for its unwavering commitment to promoting and supporting the holiday and home parks industry in Scotland, and wishes the association continued success in its future endeavours.
