That the Parliament recognises 11 February 2025 as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science; believes that a significant gender gap has persisted in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects at all levels and that it affects girls and women all over the world; celebrates what it sees as the amazing accomplishments achieved by Scottish women in scientific fields, and commends all projects that support, fund and inspire women and girls to engage in science.
