Celebrating Crookston Castle Primary School’s Contribution to Glasgow Times Bank on Us Appeal

That the Parliament commends the pupils and staff of Crookston Castle Primary School for their exceptional charitable efforts in support of the Glasgow Times Bank on Us appeal; recognises the generosity and hard work of the children, who collected and donated three trolleys full of essential items, including food and toys, to help families and individuals in need during this winter and the ongoing cost of living crisis; congratulates the school on organising initiatives such as the Christmas Jumper Day, which encouraged donations for the food bank; acknowledges the collective efforts of the school community in fostering a culture of kindness and giving; welcomes the wider Bank on Us appeal and its efforts to support vulnerable families across Glasgow by providing food, toys and other essentials; encourages continued support from schools, businesses and the community at large, and commends Crookston Castle Primary School for exemplifying what it sees as the power of collective action and community care.
