That the Parliament welcomes the charitable work of Glasgow’s Helping Heroes (GHH) in providing Christmas gift bags to veterans in Glasgow, including items such as shortbread, socks, Christmas candles, shower gel and hot water bottles; notes GHH’s collaboration with SSAFA and Glasgow City Council; acknowledges the support of the Yarrows Recreational Club; commends the efforts of GHH staff and volunteers in assisting veterans and their families, and celebrates SSAFA’s mission to ensure that the Armed Forces community never battles alone.
