That the Parliament congratulates the Bo’ness Breastfeeding Support Group on reaching the milestone of its one-year anniversary; understands that the group was founded 12 months ago, following the COVID-19 pandemic, when the local NHS support group did not restart; recognises that the support group meets weekly on a Wednesday morning at a local community hall and is led by Caroline Harrower, a qualified International Broad Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and Alisha Walker-Cowie; understands that the support group is supported by the charity, Maddie’s Miracle, which aims to highlight what it sees as the poor state of infant feeding support throughout the country and to help mothers on their journeys by providing knowledgeable, evidence-based and skilled infant feeding support; congratulates the Bo’ness Breastfeeding Support Group once again on its recent anniversary, and thanks Caroline and Alisha for providing what it considers to be such crucial support to breastfeeding mothers in the Falkirk East area.
