That the Parliament congratulates Seaton Community Hub on receiving a £19,200 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this grant will support dementia-friendly afternoon discos at the hub that are suitable for all people; notes that attendees at these discos will be entertained with music from the 1950s to the present day, along with a light lunch, allowing participants to form new social connections while getting their dancing shoes on; believes that events such as these are important in ensuring that people with dementia avoid social isolation and keep an active mind; hopes that this award, which is for two years, will be a great success, and wishes the organisers and participants all the best.
