That the Parliament commends Carnbroe Community Action for Residents for Central Carnbroe (CCAR) for what it sees as its outstanding contribution and service to community life; understands that the group was formed with the twin aims of representing the views and concerns of Central Carnbroe residents and promoting a sense of community spirit; notes that the group has received funding from North Lanarkshire Council and donations from members of the community towards the purchase of equipment to build a community garden and maintain green space within the area; recognises that the group has built on the success of its community garden by hosting community events, including Christmas markets, summer fayres and litter picking events in collaboration with local schools; commends the hard-working team of local volunteers who have dedicated their time to keeping the communal grass areas neat and tidy and creating a shared space for the community, and wishes CCAR every success with its future endeavours.
