That the Parliament congratulates Lady Alice Primary School, in Greenock, on being given a 2024-26 Gold School Sport Award in recognition of the school’s achievements in putting sport at the heart of its planning, practice and ethos; understands that, in receiving this accolade, the school has been recognised for showing excellent practice across the core areas of the award and demonstrated an ongoing commitment to increase young people’s opportunities and engagement in physical education, school sport and leadership, and to provide clear pathways to life-long participation in sport; notes that Lady Alice is only the third school in the Greenock and Inverclyde constituency to hold a current Gold School Sport Award, and wishes all the staff and learners at the school all the best for the future.
