  • Motion reference: S6M-13606

That the Parliament congratulates Islay High School on its recent positive attainment report; notes that the school’s A-C pass rate for both National 5 and Higher are significantly above the Argyll and Bute and national averages during the 2022-23 exam diet; understands that the headteacher, Stephen Harrison, who retires at the end of the academic year, has overseen a strong ethos within the school, which encourages a positive relationship between staff and pupils, and wishes the staff, pupils and all involved at Islay High School the very best for the future.
