Eric Liddell Way Opens on The Meadows

  • Submitted by: Miles Briggs, Lothian, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 30 April 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-13030

That the Parliament celebrates the opening of the Eric Liddell Way on the Meadows in Edinburgh; understands that the path would have been the route Eric Liddell took to walk to work and church; believes that this is a fitting tribute to an athlete who won not just a gold medal in running, but also seven caps for Scotland in 1922 and 1923, and congratulates the Bruntsfield and Morningside communities on this achievement.
