That the Parliament notes that April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month; acknowledges reports that Scotland has an excellent screening programme; notes the calls encouraging the Scottish Government to look into evaluating and publishing the cost of making the screening programme more sensitive, to save more lives, and notes the public health advice that it is important for people to speak to a GP as soon as possible if they are experiencing symptoms that include bleeding from their bottom, blood in their poo, a change in how often they poo or regularly having diarrhoea or constipation, losing weight unexpectedly, feeling very tired all the time inexplicably, or having a tummy pain or lump.
