That the Parliament understands that Grangemouth Stadium is a national asset that faces closure by Falkirk Council; recognises that the people of Grangemouth and the wider Scottish athletics community reportedly want the stadium to remain open; notes the belief that a new operational model is required to keep Grangemouth Stadium open; further notes the calls for the Scottish Government to invest in Grangemouth Stadium, in recognition of what it sees as its status as a national asset, and notes the belief that investing in sports facilities empowers communities and saves costs in the long term.
