Fred. Olsen Renewables Impact Report

That the Parliament welcomes the report by Fred. Olsen Renewables, which quantifies the economic impact of its operations in Scotland; notes that the organisation has delivered more than 866 green jobs, that it has awarded contracts totalling £920 million to Scottish businesses, and that it contributed £465 million to the Scottish economy to date; highlights the impact that it believes the organisation is having in helping progress Scotland’s target to reach net zero by 2045, whilst contributing to national ambitions on energy security, clean economy and the creation of hundreds of green jobs; recognises the impact that its community benefit funds are reportedly having in local areas; commends the organisation’s continued efforts to place collaboration at the heart of its activities in Scotland, and wishes it all the best with its future work.
