Black Bull Wins Local Food and Drink Award at Rural Oscars

That the Parliament congratulates the Black Bull in Lauder on winning the Local Food and Drink Award at the recent Scottish Countryside Alliance Rural Oscars; notes that this award celebrates those who are playing an integral role in supporting the rural economy, and commends those who champion local produce and help to enhance their local community; understands that the Black Bull was praised for greeting old and new customers with not only top quality produce and food but also lively banter and a warm welcome; further understands that it was commended for being passionate about ensuring that only the best produce reaches its kitchens, which means that it showcases the finest local Scottish produce such as quality beef, lamb, fish and seasonal game, all prepared to order; congratulates all the staff at the Black Bull for their hard work and dedication, and thanks local customers for their continued patronage.
